Please Help! Confused About Banked Points and Use Year

I hope I'm using the right terminology and could use any help! We purchased an AKV resale contract in January with a December use year. The previous owner banked 35 points that will expire November 2018. So we have 295 2017 points, 295 2018 points and the 35 banked points. We're looking at doing a week and a half to two week trip (in a 2 bedroom or bigger depending on the amount of points) in August-October 2019. So here's my questions:

Will I be able to use the 35 banked points in November 2018 for a trip in August-October 2019?

Will I be able to use the 2017 points next November or will I need to bank them? Or should/can I rent them out and use 2019 points in November 2018?

Let’s fix the vocabulary. You don’t “use” the points when you book. You use them when you stay. Points that expire at the end of November 2018 must be used, that is, your stay must be completed, by the end of November 2018. Those are 2016 points that were banked into your 2017 use year.

With a December use year, a trip in August 2019 is in your 2018 use year. You can used banked 2017 points, current 2018 points, and borrowed 2019 points for a trip in your 2018 use year.

Throw away your calendar with a Dec UY. Your calendar is Dec 1 through Nov 31 each year. So you still have 15 days until the start of your Dec 2017 UY. You are currently in the Dec 2016 UY.
