Please, please someone who actually knows this come to our rescue...

Regarding staying onsite at a Disney (deluxe) resort and WHEN dining reservations can be made.

Here is the $64K question(s). Staying at an onsite deluxe resort how far in advance can I make reservations? Do I get 10 extra days, meaning I actually get 190 days out? Also, can we book dining reservations for our entire stay or must we call or go online each successive 180th day out to make a dining reservation?

I guess I am confused but what if anything is the advantage in regards to making dining reservations by staying at an onsite resort?

When could I make a dining reservation if I wasn't staying onsite at a Disney resort?

Last, is there a dining reservation advantage (not price, we know about TiW) for annual passholders?

Thanks, seems like we have 10 different answers for the questions I have?:teacher:

You can book your ADR's for 10 days on the 180th day. :)

You advantage over guest who are not staying onsite - you can book for the entire 10 days - Those staying offsite can only do one day.

There is no dining reservation advantage for AP holders.

THANK YOU!:worship: So it is actually 180 + 10 days? Meaning I can make dining reservations on the 180th day for my entire stay up to 10 days past the 180th day?

By the way, is this a relatively new way how they do this now? Did it used to be 10 additional days on the front end?

I don't think you have ever been allowed to make your adr's at 190 days -- but yes, at your 180th day, you can make all your ADR's for 10 days out.:)

No advantages for annual passholders as far as making restaurant reservations.

Everyone has summed it up rather well, so I will just add that you need to ensure you enter the resort reservation number online or give it to the CM by phone to book your extra 10 days on the 180th day. Otherwise, you would have to book one day at a time on the 180th day each time.
