Please help clarify (check in for Fantasmic)

We've never seen Fantasmic before, so I'm not quite sure where to check in. If I walk past the POTC towards the HM, I will see a churro cart? And I stand next to the churro cart until a CM wheels up a podium for the 8pm checkin?

Are you meaning check in for the priority viewing of Fantasmic or just regular Fantasmic viewing??

if it's for priority seating then yes! there is a churro cart right outside the haunted mansion against the opposing wall by the steps down to the pirates lair rafts. and a CM will wheel out a podium.

As PP said, though, that's for reserved seating. If you're not paying for reserved seating, you just squeeze in whereever you can!

I personally don't think it's worth it for the 'treats' they give you but the view is awesome!

Isn't it 30 days? I thought 60 was for Priority Seating at the restaurants.

When walking from POTC to HM, the churro cart will be on the right side. It's almost directly across from HM It's funny though, if you ask the other cart vendors in the area where the check in is, they really have no idea. The podium is not there until the CM doing the check in wheels it up and sets up - directly beside the churro cart (next to the stairs).
