We, a party of 6 including 2 DD's (age 6,4), will be at AK until it closes at 5 (or at least until after the 4 pm parade).
We are staying at FW cabins and want to be at the Chip & Dale Sing-a-long around 6:30. We have our own car.

Where should we go for dinner? :confused3

We've never been to WDW, and we're very excited. The rest of our eating plans and ADR's are set for the week, but this one night is just not falling into place!

TIA!

Although I haven't eaten there, have you thought about the Trail's end Buffet (in Fort Wilderness)? It opens at 4:30, and it looks like it would be quick and convenient since an hour and a half is not alot of time to drive and eat.

Or maybe I would just eat at 4:30 at Flame Tree BBQ/ Yak and Yeti CS / or Pizzafari at Animal Kingdom before leaving.

I don't know if I would try to do anything at another resort in the limited time you have so that you can get to the campfire a little early and relax instead of being stressed about getting there.

Since the 31st is a Thursday, the Trails End Buffet will be open. I would try that since you won't have a great deal of time prior to the campfire.

I agree with the previous poster that you won't have a great deal of time to get to another resort.

Also, since you are in a cabin perhaps you could just pick up a frozen pizza at the Trading Post and cook that while your family cleans up and changes for the campfire.

Hope this helps! Have a fun time on your first trip!!! :)

Your timing is going to be tight. I think the suggestion to grab a quick meal in the park right after the parade is a good idea. Then you can go straight back to the sing-along. I would also recommend Flame Tree or even CS at Pizzafari because they are right on the parade route. Y&Y is in Asia and not on the parade route; you might not be able to walk back there in order to catch the last seating of the day.

Thank you for the replies.

I also thought of Trails End, but I wasn't sure if there was time for that.

Is there something we could get to eat during the parade? My DH could go get something while we wait for the parade.

So Flame Tree and Pizzafari are close to the parade route?

Yes, they are on the route. And yes, they have food choices there (moreso at Pizzafari) that would be easy enough to eat as the parade passed by.

Pizzafari has large hot sandwiches, pizza (of course) and salads. There may be other selections too, I'm just running on memory. We don't care for Flame Tree BBQ, but many folks like it. There are hot BBQ sandwiches available there. (Among other things of course).

Alternatively, if you like McDonald's there is one between AK and Ft. Wilderness. You could stop there on your way back to your resort.
