I joined the Emerald club through Mousesavers. I reserved a mid size car on the National web site. I have my Emerald club card. Do I go to the Kiosk or the counter or straight to the Emerald Aisle. Is the aisle clearly marked? I can
pick any car in the aisle? Any other helpful info would be appreciated. Toon

I know the aisle is clearly marked, and I know you get to pick any car from it (I also know, from reading here :) that if 'your' National lot doesn't have anything you like on the EA, and you have the time and inclination, you can go back into the terminal, up to level three, across the terminal, down to level one on the other side, and out to the garage).

But I don't know if you can use the kiosk.

As long as the reservation says emerald Isle, you can go out to the garage. The only time you have to go to the counter is if the ressie says counter.

Since you are booked with National and are an Emerald Club member all you do is go out to the lot and pick up a car from the row and drive away. That is what is so nice about being an Emerald member.

I have a couple of questions.

So, do you have to reserve a certain category of car or any category? In other words can I reserve a midsize and if there is a minivan in the Emerale Aisle can you drive away with that or does it have to be a midsize.

Also, what if I need a carseat?

TIA

If you book midsize emerald isle you can pick any vehicle on the isle. It will at least be a midsize, but could be minivan, SUV, luxury car etc...

If you reserve a specific vehicle category like a minivan you go to the minivan isle and pick from the minivans available.

I've gotten a midsize, minivan, and once an SUV from the emerald isle in the past. Several times though there have been midsize vehicles only!!
