Naturally, I am confused........

But to make this easier to explain, let us say I cannot go to pin event, but want some of the merchandise....Pooh is going....so I am going to sponsor him, right?
Now.....Pooh goes to the event.....I pay the Event cost, right?
What does Pooh get, what do I get? Pooh gets the RSP addressed to him, right? So do I tell Pooh what pins I want, pay him, and he puts those, plus the ones he wants on his RSP?

and just to warn you guys.......I seem to have the same effect on Pin Events as I do on professional ball games. You want a team to lose a game? Send me and have me root for them. You want pins from an event to go over like a big ole rock? Have me pre-arrange to get some of those pins and they will still be on the racks 6 months later. (Examples: Big Game and Imagination events) :p

Yeah that is basically how it works. You recieve the stuff that comes with the package like lanyard and any pins that are given out. The RSP things can work two ways you guys can put down everything that interests you and then after you get the list back of what you got decide what you want and what he wants. I tried to make sure that the person I sponsored got plenty of pins that he wanted. Then of course he gets to go and enjoy the actual event and if there are any scavenger hunts or anything like that you can either split the take or let him have all of it.

I've been working with families that want to go. IE: Several members want to go, so I sponsor one member. That member (generally a spouse who isn't a trader) then gives me the RSP to put what I want on it. The rest of the family that's going get an RSP of their own to fill out.

When I have sponsered someone to go for me, the way we work it is - I pay for the event, I pay for my pins I want and I get whatever FREE gifts that are given out.

I have had someone sponser one of my kids,as he could not attend and there was no refund. The sponser paid for the event ,any pins they got from the rsp and got any free-bees that we got. We sent the layard, bag, flyer, everything that went with the package. Also have had friends sponser one person in our party who did attend and they also got everything stated above
Take care Brenda
