First, I'm somewhat concerned about taking the tram over to the other part of the airport. Can I get on the tram without a ramp? If not, I don't ever remember seeing anyone doing this at the tram area.

More important I'm not sure how easy it will be to spot the elevators I need to get to ME? Is it the same as if you were walking there except there will be elevators strategically placed where necessary?

I'll be coming in on Airtran if this makes a difference.

There is no problem taking the monorail from arrivals to ME in a wheelchair.

There is only a slight (2" or so) gap between the boarding area and the actual monorail floor so you can roll right on.

The elevators are easily spotted on the main part of the terminal.

You may want to check out the terminal map on line before hand.

Like the PP stated, the tram is a falt entry from the terminal. YOu will just need to wheel right on... and elevators are easy to spot as well and yes they are strategically placed throughout the terminals...Enjoy your trip!!!

The first part is the same as for people walking. Take the tram, then exit security and come out into the open and look to the side for the big neon B on the wall.

Go under the B (the ceiling is now lower), go out past the ticket counters, and then look for the elevator.

If needed, contact ME for a lift bus, as not all have the lift, and even with a "kneeling bus" feature the steps are still high off the ground and can be a problem for some. These busses are higher than a normal WDW transport bus due to the luggage compartment beneath. Reconfirm the lift bus at the ME podium or check-in, it's often just a short extra wait for it. Also reconfirm that the lift bus is noted on your return.

After you exit the tram, and head toward the "B" side (where DME is located), you will go straight through the middle of the 2 escalators and the elevator bank is right straight ahead on the wall. You can see the elevators from the top of the escalators (where most people will be heading down). We always take the elevator since we have a stroller with us. You will also have no trouble getting onto the tram.
