I've seen a few people mention they had codes attached to their names? What does that mean? Do people who visit WDW often automatically get special price codes? Or is it random? Or what?

I was at WDW for a week in March with my Mom, and I'm trying to convince DH the two of us should go again (our last trip there together was 1/2001) but he thinks it's too expensive. :(

Pin codes are completely random. They often come out in either an email or a postcard send to the lucky guest. You can call and ask if you have a pin attached but the normal way to get notified is postcard/email. People (self included) have tried for years to figure out how to become a lucky PIN code receipient but there seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Sign up with Disney on thier website or order a travle planning DVD and they have your info to send any possible pin codes to.

You are better off to keep your eyes peeled for a public discount or a discount offered thru something like AAA or Disney Visa. They are pretty common. If you don't have any restrictions on when you travel, value seasons can be very affordable and often have additional discounts added to them (like free dining or the current 28% off offer).
