For our upcoming May trip, this is what we have:

1. Crystal Palace breakfast before the MK opens
2. 50s Primetime Lunch
3. Le Cellier Lunch
4. Boma Dinner
5. Cape May Dinner
6. Whispering Canyon Cafe Dinner

I'm nervous about all the buffets. I don't like all the up and down and rushing around that a Buffet meal usually subjects you to. However, I want to visit AKL, don't think DH will like Sanaa, and I don't want to waste 2 TS credits on Jiko (even though that would probably be my first choice at AKL if money or credits weren't an issue ;).) I want to go to Cape May for dinner because we LOVE crab legs, and I'd like to take the opportunity to visit the Epcot resorts. I've also always wanted to visit the WL and Whispering Canyon Cafe sounds fun. I would like to try Ohana, but I don't know what I would sub it for, and I'm also nervous about the so-so reviews it's gotten lately. Plus, call me crazy, but I'm not a big fan of the Poly. I think it's way overrated. I've never eaten there though, only grazed around and had a few drinks at one of the bars. If I were to add Ohana, what dinner should I get rid of in it's place?

We've only been on the DDP one other time, and our only repeat meal is Le Cellier. We had wonderful experiences at The Wave (My favorite! YUM!), Sci Fi, Narcoosees, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Teppan Edo on our last trip...but outside of Le Cellier which is a MUST repeat for DH, I want to try new things.

How did I do? Is it too buffet heavy? Be honest. :surfweb:

I think it looks great! Love all the places you have chosen. I'm not crazy about buffets either but the three you have picked are really good and definitely worth a try. I wouldn't switch anything for Ohana's. We used to go there every trip but the last two times the food and service were both terrible and we won't be going back anytime soon. So i say keep it just how you have it and ENJOY!!!!!:goodvibes

I think they look great! I LOVE Wilderness Lodge.
Its a great place to visit....and STAY! :)
Love Le Cellier as well. I think you have a nice blend.
We had O'Hana for breakfast and it was wonderful.

Are you sure Cape May has crab legs? They didn't have them when we were there a few months ago.

According to their updated menu on Allears they do. I've also read lots of recent Cape May reviews (with pictures) where they report crab legs. I'm guessing this is a recent addition to their menu. However, I probably should keep an eye on it, cause if they take them off the menu before our trip (which they can probably do at any time), my interest in Cape May plummets. We'll see, I guess! :confused3

If you want 'Ohana you better book now. :) We are going May 7-14 and last week I made an ADR for dinner at 'Ohana. The only time was at 5:10 the entire week. I took it! We are also doing breakfast there one morning. We canceled Whispering Canyon for 'Ohana.

Yeah, I know you are right. We are going May 14th-May 20th. The last I looked a couple days ago, they still had a few available times for Ohana. I actually reserved one of them on a day we don't have another dinner planned. I think it's a 5:20 on Thursday, May 19th. I'm leaning towards just canceling it though. If it were up to me, I'd cancel CP for Ohana, but DH would really like a breakfast somewhere in week. And of our three dinner choices, I'd really like to try all three, so I'm having trouble deciding which one I'd get rid of for Ohana. Therefore, unless I change my mind again, I'll be canceling a Thursday, May 19th Ohana sometime in the near future for anyone who wants to grab it.

i think your ADR's look great, Boma is wonderful, you won't be sorry.
if I was gonna sub one out for ohana, it would be 50's prime time

They all look good except if your husband doesn't like Sanaa I'm not sure about Boma either. My kids didn't like it at all and my husband and I found a few things okay but have no desire to go again. I know alot of people like this place but I think it depends on your taste. They use a lot of different spices.
Le Cellier is one of our favorite also love crystal palace, whispering canyon cafe and 50's prime time haven't tried cape may before.
