I am confused about the water taxi (s)-

I know that you can get from some resorts to the parks - and some parks to other parks & downtown disney too- but which ones

also the Swan & Dolphin have water transportation too - if I stay onsite but not there can I use their taxi?

There are three main boat routes.

One are the Friendship boats in the Epcot/MGM area. Boats run between Epcot and MGM and make stops at Boardwalk, Yacht/Beach Club, and Swan & Dolphin on the way. There aren't any non-stop boats between Epcot and MGM, though.

The second services the Downtown Disney area and runs from DTD Marketplace to Port Orleans (the old Dixie Landings). I'm pretty sure it makes stops at Old Key West and maybe Disney Institute on the way, but it's been a while since I've ridden the boats there. I'm sure someone can answer that with certainty. Unfortunately there are no boats that run between DTD and the parks.

The third is for the Magic Kingdom. The riverboats run between the TTC and the MK, and there is boat service from MK to Fort Wilderness and the Wilderness Lodge.

First thanks Matthew - I had no clue that there were that many options! I'd definately use the taxi's - if I can find them - somehow I've never noticed them before??

anyway, I hate to ask but I have trouble with some of the abbreviations and TTC is one of them - usually I can figure it out after a few minutes but this is stumping me. I think it may be transportation central?? but what would the other "t" be for??? sorry for being so Dumb!!

TTC in the above context is for Ticket & Transportation Center. It is also used as the abbreviation for Tiffany Town Car (a company that provides transportation between MCO and WDW via private towncar).
