Please be patient...another cabana question

I have everything done---RPR room, air, park tickets, limo. Now I'm ready to obsess over the small stuff LOL.

On our last day, we have a 7:30 PM flight out. I was thinking we could spend the day at PBH at the pool with a cabana.

My questions are:
Will we be allowed to rent a cabana at PBH if we're staying at RPR?
Will we be allowed to rent a cabana if it's out check-out day and we're officially checked out, but they're still holding our luggage until around 4 pm?
Can we rent one for the first half of the day, say from morning until 3 or 4?
How difficult would it be to take the water taxi from PBH back to RPR to get our luggage and meet the limo when it's time to go to the airport? I mean, is there a direct boat from resort to resort?
Have any of you rented a cabana on check-out day, and did it work out?

We rent a cabana every year for our entire stay. We take the same flight home every year and it leaves at 6pm. So, the cabana is our home base on check-out day.

You can rent a cabana at any Loews resort on site, as long as you are a guest at one of the other Loews properties. The half-day rental is only in effect from 3pm on - not in the a.m. As far as going from RPH to PBH, I am not sure if the water taxi does that route - but that is easy enough to find out. I am sure the hotel will store your luggage for your departure time.

Aisling - we loved our day at HRH cabana when we stayed at RPR- there was not a direct boat back to RPR - but we just had to jump off at City Walk dock and wait for RPR boat from there - it was no big deal in late Aug. The cabanas at HRH (can't speak for the other hotels) were even private enough to change in with the sides pulled down - I think it's a great way to spend your check out day- you may want to have an alternate plan in case of rain.
