Plaza Lunch Sans Reservation

I read that the Plaza is not accepting lunch reservations after 12 noon. Is this now in effect or is it still to come? If it is, when during the day can you check in? We would like to eat a 1:30 to 2 pm lunch on our upcoming trip. We already have a 8:05 Crystal Palace reservation and really don't want to eat before 12 after such a big breakfast. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

It is now a walk-up except for the few hours surrounding lunch. You'll just have to walk up and see what the wait time is when you're ready to eat.
