Plaza Inn walk up outdoor dining for dinner

we will be arriving next week and doing our first day of 4 as an easy evening, like 430-830. Dinner, a ride or two, walking around to soak it all in. (Will be a nice reintroduction for my little kiddos before I speed them around for rope drop each morning lol)

I currently have a dinner res at River Belle but would much rather do Plaza Inn for the castle views. Anyone know if walk up has been easy or hard? I don’t wanna cancel my RBT res if plaza is tougher. Thinking like 5pm-ish.

also, we only do outdoor dining at this point so would need to get an outdoor table.

I assume you know, but Plaza Inn is quick service for dinner (no reservations), so it would be hard to predict how busy it would be, especially if you need outdoor seating.

Yes! I just didn’t know how quickly tables fill up there at 5pm if anyone happened to know or notice.

In the past we've never had a problem getting an outdoor table at Plaza Inn for dinner. There are alot. I suppose it can vary from day to day, though.

Even if there aren’t any tables, there are tables across the way as well, so I don’t think it would be a problem, but you never know with quick service.

You will have absolutely no problem eating at Plaza Inn and finding a seat wherever you want at 5pm.

For some strange reason, the popularity of Plaza Inn has fallen off drastically since the parks reopened. In the past, just before lunch began, there would be a massive line of people waiting outside. Same deal at dinner time almost every day. I have not once had to wait in a line to get lunch or dinner here over the last several months. We eat there frequently and have never had an issue finding seats.

That said, you can't really see the castle from the seats there. There are a lot of bushes and trees and the table umbrellas prevent good views. We prefer to eat indoors here.

That’s helpful about the view - this would be the main reason we’d choose to eat there so maybe I should stick with RBT to have a view of the River.
