I lucked out and just got a 7:10am adr for Plaza Inn in 2 weeks. It does fall on a Magic Morning day when it opens at 7am. Am I still able to get in the side turnstile at maybe 6:45-6:55? I’d like to get over and place things in a locker and take a quick pick of the castle before it opens to the masses. Or does it need to be an adr before 7am to get in early?

Thank you!

There are no adrs before 7 AM. 7:10 AM is the earliest reservation you can get. It's been a while since I have been this early but when I last did, they start allowing people through the gates at 7 am. You need to go to turnstile 1 with an early entry dining reservation.

A few months ago we had a 7:30am ADR on a 7am magic morning day. They did not let anyone in before 7 am, but anyone with an early ADR got in as soon as the gates opened at 7am. The CM specifically said she was not using anyone's magic morning allotment. We had time to dash up main street, snap some picks and ride a couple rides in Fantasyland before checking in for breakfast.

After reading this I just spent 36 minutes on hold with Disney dining to make this reservation! Lol
You made it sound good. I had the option of 7:10am or 7:30am, I went with 7:30am because I hoped we would have the same experience....

I actually could have had the 7:10 time slot and now I'm wondering If i should have done that, probably too late to switch though...my husband looked at me like I was a little crazy when I told him how early these breakfasts are...

Can you get into the park with an ADR if don't have MM/EMH privileges?

Yes, because you will be on the reservation list for an ADR. They will check your name on the list before letting you through.

OP, we once had a 7:10 Plaza Inn ADR on a day with MM, the park officially opened at 8. We were the first reservation and it was fantastic - both the food and the characters were fresh! I have an awesome picture of Minnie and Eeyore escorting our daughter to our table, which probably wouldn't have happened with a later reservation. There were so few ADR's at that time that many of the characters came to see us more than once. When we were done a little after 8, the park had just opened and we walked onto Pirates. We had had a MM on our tickets that we had already used, so we didn't need to ride the FL rides first.

I got a 7:10 for Thursday, we'll have already used our mmh on Tuesday.

I figure I'll just ask for the check right away so as soon as we feel like bolting we can.

Since it is a buffet, you pay at the podium before you go into the restaurant, so you can leave as soon as you're done with your meal.

Ooh that's right I forgot, thanks!

We've eaten here before so have met most of the regular characters. I hope we can see a good many of them and then be out with the rest of the rope droppers at 8.

Yep, this is our plan too. Anyone have an idea which is the “smartest” ride to get to right at 8am? I’ll be there June 28th and have MaxPass.

Is a reservation 50 minutes before opening normally the earlier you can get? I have one for 8:40 when the park opens at 9:00. Its a Wednesday so no Early morning opening for DL. I would like an 8:10 i keep checking.

You will not find an 8:10 reservation for a day when the park opens at 9 am and there is no early entry. I think 8:40 is the earliest. The earliest seating seems to be 10 minutes after whenever the gates open for the day. I would expect the gates to open at 8:30 am and guests to be held for rope drop on a 9 am non-early entry day.
