Plaza Inn Dinner - quick service?

Is the Plaza Inn dinner quick service? I tried to make reservations online, and it says no availability, and the quick service restaurants all say quick service. Confused!

Yes it is Counter/Quick service, not a table service restaurant. Reservations can only be made for the character breakfast.

Correct, it is counter service. It is like the Pizza Port in that you get your tray and go up to "stations" to request what you'd like and then pay in a separate line.

I always thought this place was table service as well, I guess because I would see a line of people outside and I thought they were waiting for reservations.

The Plaza Inn is counter service at lunch and dinner, but it's a TS for breakfast. There are no characters at lunch or dinner.

There is a lot of seating inside though. And the food is pretty good for theme park CS food. Many people love the chicken there. We've eaten there twice, but it was 4 years ago. It was crowded both times because it's popular, but we were still able to find a seat inside.

Get the fried chicken and strawberry shortcake. You can substitute the green beans for more mash potatoes on the fried chicken dinner and get all dark meat or all white. It's a big plate that me and my wife usually split. It's probably the best deal in the park when you consider how much food you get and the quality of the food.
