playstay and dine til apr. 12, 2014 way more money than free dining in nov 2013

Hi:

Has anybody compared the new discount "play stay and dine til apr. 12, 2014" to the ongoing free dining til dec 2013.

We have ten days free dining booked nov 11, 2013 and I compared 10 days in april and the difference is $800,

why is this deal so much more money?It will cost us $800 to switch for the same package.

Because the discounts are not the same. They are two different offers and the difference in resort rate for the two different months can factor in as well. SPD is not a free dining deal, but a discount on different package components.

Even if you compared the rack rates for those two timeframes, April would be much more expensive than November. Plus 2014 is still more expensive across the board than 2013. So the discounts are probably not exactly the same, but to really compare you'd have to price them out as a percentage off the rack rates for the same time period.

I haven't been checking the boards for a few days, has SPD extended until April 12?

Am I missing something? Isn't S/P/D only until April 12th if you have a PIN? I know the Canadian general offer for S/P/D goes until the 12th but not the US one.
