So I know the food isn't great, but my almost 2 year old son will have a blast with the characters, any suggestions on which is the better meal?? :flower3:

Sorry I don't have experience. But I would choose Breakfast. Most of the buffet breakfasts have many of the same items, so that would be safer than the lunch options.
Of course I haven't been there....that is just theory.

Good luck and have fun!!

We LOVED the breakfast. I had only one ressie at first but went back two more times. The kids (1 and 3 at the time) loved starting the day this way. By far the favorite of the "character" meals we tried last time.

I had the same Q for my almost 1 year old boy. We went w/ breakfast b/c how bad could breakfast be? Fruit & eggs easy. Right? Well, good luck w/ your choice!

I thought the lunch food was terrible!! My DC loved the characters, so if we went again, I'd do breakfast.

We had breakfast here July 2010 and it was good. The character interaction was great my sons who were 5 and 6 at the time loved it. FWIW I remember researching it last trip and was told the breakfast was much better than the lunch. Cheers!

Thanks everyone for the replies... I'm torn, I would prefer to do a lunch but from everything I've read the breakfast is better, so we may just do the latest seating possible for breakfast and make it a brunch :upsidedow

We're going for an early lunch in August, 11am reservation. We've been for lunch before... it's nothing super special but I found it fine. Breakfast would be a waste for our family... DH and DD are the only big breakfast eaters, while DS and I would rather have cereal or a bagel and be done with it.

We have a 2pm DVC gathering that day so needed to work H&V around that - Disney Jr characters are a highlight for my kiddos.

we really enjoyed breakfast but really disliked lunch. We would go back for breakfast but even my triplets refuse to go back for lunch.

We did lunch at 11:00. At park opening we went staight to Little Mermaid then exited straight into Disney Playhouse theatre.:)
My DS2 loved seeing all of the characters on stage right before being able to visit them in person at lunch at Hollywood and Vine. The food was nothing to right home about, but the character interaction was excellent.

We had lunch there and it was just ok. I ended up eating a lot of food off of the kids' section. DH liked it better than I did.

We have a breakfast ADR for December because my kids love the Disney Junior characters. The characters were excellent! My kids both had a great time. They came around a couple of times and DD5 (she was 4 then) was up dancing with the CM and other kids. We have really fun pictures.

We had lunch there in the past and I thought the food wasn't very good. We have a breakfast ADR for our next trip since DD wants to meet OSO.
