Playhouse Disney Télé Debuts on Bell TV

(This probably won't interest most, and is a bit dated, but it only popped up in my email recently and I'm sure there has to be someone on the Canadian Board who wants to hear about it. It does mark the first time a Disney television channel has debuted in Canada "on it's own", as opposed to being attached to an existing Canadian network, such as the English-Language Family, or the French-Language VRAK.TV.)

Disney-ABC Television Group, Astral et Bell Canada avait annoncé le lancement partout au Canada de la nouveau réseau de télévision Playhouse Disney Télé. Cette nouveau réseau, disponible sur canal 189 du service de Bell Télé, présentera des émissions Disney en français et des émissions canadiennes destiné aux enfants de l'âge préscolaire.

Playhouse Disney Télé offrira aux familles éditions francophones des programmes tels que La Maison de Mickey, Agent Spécial OSO et Les Doodlebops.

Les abonnés au service de Bell Télé peut voir tout sur le canal 189, en essai gratuit jusqu'au 5 octobre.

Disney-ABC Television Group, Astral and Bell Canada have announced the national launch of Playhouse Disney Télé, a new television chanel. This new channel, available on Bell TV channel 189, will present a schedule of French-Language Disney programmes, along with Canadian productions, all aimed at preschool-aged children.

Playhouse Disney Télé will offer families French-Language editions of such programmes as La Maison de Mickey (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse), Agent Spécial OSO (Special Agent OSO) and Les Doodlebops (The Doodlebops).

Bell TV subscribers can catch a free preview of the new channel on channel 189, now through 5 October.
