does anyone know the length of the shows at the parks such as playhouse disney, the little mermaid and festival of the lion king and how many performances there are in a day?wave:

Unsure about the number of shows per day - but I know someone here will be able to pass that info along.

Playhouse Disney is about 30 minutes, Little Mermaid is 15 minutes, and Festival of the Lion King is 30 minutes.

They are all great. Hope you enjoy them.

Playhouse Disney is 20 min long. There are between 6-10 shows a day, depending on park hours.

Mermaid is 17 mins once you're in the theatre, but you could have a half-hour wait in the pre-show area. Shows are pretty much continuous from about 10am until just before park close.

Festival of the Lion King is 35 min and runs 5-7 times a day, depending on season and crowds.

Here's a site for more info:

Voyage of Little Mermaid - throughout the day from 9.35am - 7.25pm

Lion King - 7 shows starting at 9.45am, last show 4.30pm

hope this helps:wave:

Actually, this show runs 7-9 times daily depending on season and crowds. For the next two Thursdays they will be testing the evening EMH and there will be 9 shows of FoLK. During the regular seson there are 7 and during the peak season there are 8.

One of the Main reasons we are going to MGM is for the Playhouse disney live on stage show. How hard is it to get in? Are the lines super long? do they have a fast pass option? Thanks for the answers in advance : )
Lesley

When we were there at end of April, queues were very long. there is no fastpass, you have to queue fairly early for this one. Maybe try going to one of first shows, might not be as busy:wave:

We lucked out over Easter.. They had fast passes for Playhouse Disney!

Does anyone who has been there since Easter know if they still use Fast Pass for Playhouse Disney? That would be GREAT!
Lesley

Just checked the Times guide for MGM that I brought back. There was definitely no Fastpass when we were there.
