Does anyone have a picture of the playground in the 1300 loop? we have a 32 ft 5th wheel and two small kids (5.5 & 3.5), so I was thinking this might be a good loop. Thoughts???
We were in the 1300 loop last summer. We loved it! We have a daughter as well - she was 5 at the time. It is a central loop that is good for walking or biking to the pool etc. The playground is a smaller one but is fine for one or two kids! Also just around the pool is another playground. We'll ask to be in this loop again!
I don't have any pics but we were in 1300 11/08 and we LOVED IT! It is in a great location and really is central to everything. The playground and b-ball court were nice and it was a short walk to the pool and store. Only downside we had was being on the orange route(awful! ). If we were in that loop again we would walk to the bus stop for 1600.....but that won't happen because we are not going to pay more for a bigger concrete pad! Full h/u loops here we come!
After posting that last comment we saw the new loop status listings. Unfortunately we won't be requesting the 1300 loop as it's turned into a pet loop Man that makes me sad!

I don't think the number of people traveling with pets is really going up, so I think all this means is that they will be more spread out. So instead of having pet loops where everyone has a pet, now there will be pet-friendly loops where maybe 1 in 5 will have a pet. And most pets are not a problem. I was there for 8 days in Dec and only had two pet issues I observed (and I did a fair amount of looping). One was a large dog barking fiercely for about 30 minutes. His owners tried to calm him, but he'd just seen his first armadillo and was inconsolable! The other was a real problem: the owners left this guy all-day and into the night in a pop-up(!) and he howled and barked non-stop. So out of the 7 or so loops I spent significant time in, two problems. I saw more disturbances to the atmosphere of the Fort caused by spoiled little brats and punk teenagers than by pups. But I suspect petitioning for an adults-only loop is a lost cause.
We seem to always end up in a pet loop and have never have an issue with pets.
There were a few pets in the loop but not on every sites.
So unless you have a kid with serious allergies, I would not worry to much.
