Player piano from Trails End at FW up for sale!!

That's right, the one and only player piano from Trails End (at least that was the only piano I knew of at the Fort) is up for sale. I'm not sure when they got rid of it, kind of stinks cause I always loved this thing.

Below is the image that is up on EBay for it, it's from Mouse Surplus. If you don't know Mouse Surplus they do auctions of items from Disney (parks, resorts, everything), sometimes they sell some REALLY cool stuff. In fact, last year, the original entrance sign to Fort Wilderness, with Mickey holding the gun, was sold by them, last time I saw the price on it I think it was around $8000 -$9000.

The current bid on the player piano is at $3000. Will be interesting to see what it finally sells for, I think there are about 20 bids on it so far.

I saw it too. Man, I sure wish my money tree was full enough to bid on it. I sure will miss it. It is my plan when we get there to find out what, if anything, was put in its place.

Yea, I'm interested to see what they put there or if they just left it empty. Always thought it was so nice at the entrance, don't know why they got rid of it.

Guess I'll have to ask one of the bartenders when we're having a few next time!

I just noticed that in addition to the current $3009.00 bid on the piano, it ALSO costs $700.00 to ship it.

I think I would want some REALLY good shipping insurance on that thing
