playa sol vs. Mr. Sanchos

Sally, thanks for posting the fees for activities. Are there any costs to get into the park/beach? I don't remember reading that anywhere...sorry if it was already asked. Also, is there shade?

one more question...has anyone done ATV at Mr Sanchos. My 17 DS is interested in this....

There is no entry fee at Mr. Sancho's. Tables and chairs are available with umbrellas for shade.

I believe the Tequila Seminar involves a great deal of taste testing! Sorry, I don't know anything else about it.

"I am thinking if I do take a cooler with me of food and drinks and the club is free and I bring my snorkel equip. The only money that will be spent is on the cab ride."

I read in another post that Mr Sanchos doesn't allow any outside food or drink to be consumed. Maybe some one who has been can answer that.

Since no one seems to have posted a price for the water tramp I'm assuming that it's free. Correct?

The cooler of food is important since my family doesn't eat any of the food on the menu. I was planning on taking some PB&J from the ship. If Mr. Sanchos doesn't let you bring a cooler does Playa de Sol let you?

Are There beach chairs--do you have to rent them ? Also -do you have to get there early to get one or are there plenty to go around? THanks!

Sorry ReadyForDisney2003 & dizmomof2, but I have been off line for a couple of days.

ReadyForDisney2003:
DCL books the Playa Sol excursion as the "Cozumel Beach Break." If I recall, the excursion leaves the ship at 11:00AM and yes, we were taken out to Play Sol on 2-3 buses. They also offered 2 different times to return to the ship via bus in the afternoon. I don't really remember the times, but they were somthing like 3:00PM & 4:00PM. The price for the excursion was $49 per person (10 years old & up) and $39 for ages 3-9. When we started adding up the costs of taxi's, admission, lunch, drinks, etc. we decided that this price was not too bad.

As far as the iceburg is concerned - It did loook to be quite big. My DW, DD7, and I swam out to the water trampolines, and that was about as far out as my DD7 was willing to go. The iceburg was even further out so we did not make it. To get out to these "toys" I would suggest that you get a couple of innertubes or one of the paddle boats to get out there with kids. It certainly did look like fun!

does anyone know if you can bring a cooler with you to Mr. Sanchos or to any of the other beaches?:bounce: :Pinkbounc

From what my girlfriend told me that has been to Mr. Sanchos, they do not allow outside food or coolers to be purchased
there. I guess it makes sense, since they don't charge admission, they want you to spend as much money as possible on drinks and food there.
I believe the water trampoline is $6, I'm sure I heard that somewhere.
