Platinum Castaway Club Level Complimentary Gift Selection

Hello, It has been 4 years since my last Disney Cruise (Pre-Covid) and I am sailing on the Fantasy this Saturday. Has anything changed with Platinum Level Castaway Club Members being offered a selection of complimentary items to choose to have delivered to the Stateroom? It used to be you chose either a bottle of Prosecco, a Box of Chocolates or a Cheese Platter. Is this till being offered to Platinum Level Guests? Thank you.

My last 2 sailings (Wish 9/22 and Magic 3/23) the options were box of truffles, sparkling wine, or a fruit platter.

This happened to us on the Wish in February. I would think of it once in a while during the cruise. then forget. By the last day I realized it was almost over so we asked our stateroom host. He said we had to call for it, so we did and started off with, "we never got a call about.... ". The CM on the phone immediately said they no longer offer it, you have to ask for it. Is it really a "gift" if you have to ask for it?

So we are sailing in 5 days - our first as Platinum. If I am understanding this correctly, we have to call Room Service? And ask them about our Platinum complimentary item is that correct? Or is it called something else? I assume this is in addition to whatever cooler, bag that is left in the room - is that correct also? Many thanks in advance.

Our first sailing as Platinum we didn't know about it and didn't know you had to call. Well, I think I sort of knew about it at one point but forgot. But we don't drink prosecco and I heard the chocolates and fruit aren't anything to write home about so I'm not sure we missed much. There's so much food on the ship already! I'd rather have a little pin or something else cute.

That's what we got on our recent Wonder cruise, also. Although we just stopped by Guest Services with the letter to drop it off.

Last cruise, we messaged Guest Services from that app for our bottle of Prosecco; they just added the proviso that there was someone 21+ in the room to receive the booze. They showed up shortly thereafter.

Last week on the Dream I received about 10 messages in the app to order my Platinum gift. I finally called on the 6th day and the woman who answered said finally we heard from you. LOL On a Fantasy cruise in the fall I never called but on the last day they sent those truffles.

On the Dream, and when we called room service they asked if we wanted our Platinum gift. We didn’t then but called today and got our bottle. We are Pearl, it’s still referred to as Platinum gift.

Sailed on the Wonder a few days ago and the chocolates were not truffles, they were caramels. And they were delicious! I am heading out on the Magic soon and will see if they are caramels now as well. I hope so.

Yes, that's what we had on the Wonder in February. I thought they were great!

We got truffles on the Wish April 21st-24th and 24th-28th

That's what they've been giving out for quite awhile. We had them in Oct 21 on the Wonder EBPC.

Good to know. They weren't in early October on the Wonder, December on the Magic, or January on the Fantasy.

Hopefully I can get them again on my Alaska cruises this summer. Yum!

Oooh that’s a nice change. The truffles were too rich for me.

Oh now I'm bummed we didn't get our gift on the Wish earlier this year. Those caramels look really good!
