Platinum Blonde? No, Platinum Plan-My AKL PTR~Update 9/19 Tipping the Scale!

Did y'all survive Hanna? :confused3

TexasBelle

Not even one drop of rain. We could have taken a little of it as we need a bit and are still down like 4 or 5 inches so far this year.

It happens that way doesn't it?

We packed some of our Disney stuff yesterday... now ebaying on tons and tons of trading pins since the boys pulled theirs out and want to keep most of them. :confused3

I loved the snake story. I was right there with you. :rotfl2:

I have to say I am a little glad the tag fairy doesn't frequent my PTR because I wouldn't like to advertise via a scrolly tag that I am afraid of hoses.!! :rotfl2: How do these fears develope do you think? I had no hose fears when I was a kid. I used to hike and swim in lakes and all that. Now... checking the mail requires a complete scan of the sidewalk and you can forget about grass walking. Do you think those KEEP OFF THE GRASS signs have a hidden fear in them about snakes? I should sue. :lmao:

Money origami! What a fantastic idea. I hope you get it to work. Sort of like giving Mousekeeping a tiny, spendable (word?) version of their towel animals.:goodvibes

Loved the snake/hose story! :lmao: :rotfl2:

I see at least one snake a month where I live (in the country, on a pond, etc.), so I'm so happy I'm not scared of them. I usually just grab something to try to kill it. :rotfl: I was helping clean up in the yard a few days after Gustav, and what should I see when I lift up one of the log-size pieces cut by the chainsaw???...you guessed it, a tiny, coiled black runner. :scared: I kept trying to throw the log down & kill it, but alas, he got away. After that I was a bit more careful when picking up limbs, etc.

I think I would have to move to a sidewalk city if I saw more than one a year. I know they are out there but dang almighty they freak me out.

The money oragami is giviing us a bit of grief. We have the spider and the girafe done and things are just not going on as scheduled. Even the yard work is not being done as on my scheduled list as it decided to rain today. Hmm....... How are you doing there? Any power yet?

Oh my gosh!! I can't wait to see the money origami!!!

Hey Momsof2boys:

We're on the grid again, but the land line is still on the fritz, so I can't access the internet from home yet. :headache: I'm at the library this morning getting some email, etc. done before heading on to my next chemo appointment.

Only 2 more days!  Ya'll must be so excited! I hope you have the time of your lives! I can't wait to hear how everything goes.
