All of the changes with Disney are making it hard to plan a trip. So many questions. Background: Husband and I (70) own DVC Bay Lake Towers since 2008, use every 2 years to stay in 2 bedroom. Confused about the following:
1. Have 24 points after Bay Lake Tower reservation, 5/8-15/2022. Borrowed 9 points to get a studio at Animal Kingdom (just me) for 4/28-30/2022 (I also paid for genie + just to see how it works) After a RCI cruise (me and my cousin), return to WDW, Bay Lake tower. There will be us and a cousin during this week. QUESTION: should I (only me) purchase the annual pass for DVC owners vs buying ticket for me? About $200 difference for purchasing park tickets (5-6 days 5/8 stay and 1 day+ genie plus for stay 4/29)

2. Do I need to purchase annual pass BEFORE I buy tickets and park tickets? I read that annual pass takes affect when used the first time, which is different when I had the passes a few years ago?

3. Right now, looking at tickets and park availability, all parks, of course available. Should I buy tickets now (don't care about getting them early) and get park reservations?

4. Since we'll have 1 or 2 days that we can repeat a park(s), can we upgrade a ticket to include park hopper for those 2 days. I know the animal kingdom park will be park hopper day. Other parks we would think of going a 2nd time would be Hollywood studios and who knows, Epcot or Magic Kingdom since we can walk.

5. My cousin and I will come from Port Canaveral May 8th morning so we can have a day at a park. My husband is driving from MD (not on cruise) and will arrive sometime during the day 5/8. Can we get a 6 day ticket and my husband a 5 day ticket or do we all have to have same # of days?

6. Can my cousin use her credit card to pay for tickets when we pay for our tickets? She is staying with us and has always been in our "group". She switches from our credit card to hers (for purchases) when she arrives at check in (after we do). In the past she gives us a check for ticket prices.

7. Any suggestions on transportation from Port Canaveral to WDW?

So many things to think about. I like to plan early for trips, book flights, hotels cruises early so I can get cheaper prices.

Can anyone help me, who/where can I find my answers? We watch all of the dis podcasts, our dinner entertainment.
Thanks, Linda
