We have booked 5 nights in a 2BR for the first week in April for 8 of us. My DH and I have been there in October and loved it but this will be first trip for the rest of the family. Our group will include DGD 16, DGD 11, DGS 11, and our DS and DDIL and DD. We are looking for a dolpin tour that will be running at that time of year but are also looking for other suggestions for entertainment and dining for families. We are seafood lovers but part of our group not so much, so need suggestions for dining with a wide variety of food. We will cook some in our room but want to do a few meals out. Thanks for any help. The grandchildren are really looking forward to it so I want to make sure they have a good time.

A few years ago, I took a Dolphin tour in February that I booked thru the resort-I think it was Scott's Low Country Dolphin Tours. Food's hard to suggest because we become real seafood (and only seafood) eaters at HHI. Just one suggestion in April-check the dates of the PGA Golf Tournament at Harbourtown vs. your dates. I just remembered-food-hoow about Main Street Cafe or Frankie Bones? I haven't been there, but the menu seemed to have both seafood and non-seafood offerings.

It looks like the PGA is April 9th-15th next year so I think we lucked out on that one. Thanks for the recommendations, I will check them out.

I forgot to mention something about seeing dolphins. Although Dolphin tours are enjoyable, for us nothing beats the excitement of seeing dolphins "in the wild" and at unexpected times. Last April we saw them playing in the channel area right behind the fishing pier at the center of the resort.

You should try One Hot Momma's. Don't think there is any seafood, but, the 'food' you 'see' will be good.
