We plan to check out early and head to Disney Springs for lunch and a bit of shopping and then to DHS for the Osborne Lights and FP+ late in the afternoon.

We're trying to decide if we should just drive to each destination (how is the traffic around Disney Springs nowadays?) or if we should pick one location and use transportation? Time could be an issue.

Thoughts?

I would suggest parking at DS. You should be able to park in the garage at lunch time.

To get to DHS, you can walk to the SSR Congress Park bus stop (only about 1/4 mi. from the Marketplace), and get a bus to DHS there. When you're done at DHS, take a bus back to SSR Congress Park and walk to DS. If you don't want to walk all the way to the garage, you can board the water taxi on the bridge from SSR and ride it to The Landing dock, which is not far from the garage.

You might run into traffic leaving DS, depending on the day and time.

Walking directions from DS to SSR Congress Park: From the Marketplace, follow the signs to water transportation; the dock is on the bridge to SSR. (The entrance to the bridge happens to be right next to the entrance to the DS bus depot.) Continue straight to the end of the bridge, and turn left along the waterfront. Walk along the waterfront until you see the pool, then turn right and walk between the buildings and across the parking lot. The bus stop is directly opposite the Congress Park pool.

Thanks so much for all of this info! This is exactly what we needed. :)

I would drive to DS, and I would drive to DHS. That way my car is right where I need it when I need it, without having to mess with more buses to get it at park close.
