For those of you that have been to a planning session, do you think it was worth it? What was covered? My DF and I are trying to decide on a date to go down, figure out the cost, and all that good stuff. I just want to make sure it wil l be worth it.

Thanks :)

I had my planning session on Feb 1. We got quite a bit accomplished, but I was a little disappointed. I was under the impression that we would take care of flowers, the budget details and menu tasting. Unfortunately I never made the request to do the menu tasting for that day. I assumed that it was just a part of what was scheduled. Now we are going back for spring break just to do that and a site walk through. My point is, make sure that your planner knows that if you go, you want to do the menu tasting too. She will send you a form to fill out with what you want to taste, but atleast you will only have to make one trip. Good luck!

It was worth it to me b/c it made the whole process seem "real". I liked sitting down and getting a chunk of stuff accomplished in 4 hours. Of course the highlight though was tasting all the cake flavors. Yum :goodvibes
