I booked a bounce back in September and am thinking I should start deciding on where to eat...

I know I want to eat at Le Cellier, we did it last trip and it was really good. Other than that, I would like to try some new stuff. There will be 5 of us as we are bringing the kids this time. ;) DH and I, DS 16, DD 13, and DS 11 (this is their ages on the date).

For sit down I have done:
1900 Park Faire, breakfast
O'hana, breakfast
Crystal Palace, lunch
Garden Grill, dinner
50's Prime Time Cafe, dinner
Sci-Fi, lunch
Tusker House, lunch
Trail's End, dinner
Maya Grill, dinner
Planet Hollywood, dinner
House of Blues, dinner

This was spread over our last two trips. I am looking at places that are easy to get to from the Polynesian as we will not be renting a car this trip and will be relying on Disney transportation.

Are there any other signature restaurants besides Le Cellier that offer a one credit lunch?

The most glaring omission I see is Ohana dinner. Especially if you are staying at the Poly. That is a must do for us on every trip!

We also really like Boma dinner, breakfast at Tusker House, and Biergarten in Epcot.

We will definitely get to O'hana for dinner, the restaurants I have down are the ones we have already done....

What kind of food does the Tusker House serve for breakfast? We weren't all that thrilled with the lunch there...

Tusker House breakfast has a wide variety of choices. The regular stuff you would see at any buffet and then some signature dishes. My whole family agrees that this is their favorite breakfast with Crystal Palace as a close 2nd (mmmm Pooh Ears).

Some of our other favorites are:
Boma for dinner (wide variety again with common dishes and more authentic fare),
Raglan Road (Downtown Disney) for dinner with good food and entertainment (dancing),
Le Cellier for lunch now though. I had to make my son put down the bowl of Cheese Soup before he started licking it.

Breakfast has a wider variety of "familiar" foods -- think scrambled eggs, bacon, Krispy Kreme donuts, etc. Even if lunch is too "exotic" for you I think you would be fine with breakfast. It's our favorite character breakfast in all of WDW, and a great way to get into AK early if you get the first ADR of the day!

Nice, we may have to try for that first ADR. OK, saying that... how would we get there that early? Do they buses run? We won't have a car...

We had an 8:05am ADR at Tusker House which I believe was the earliest for 9am park opening at AK. We got to the bus stop at about 7:20am and got a bus with no problem, got there right on time. I think buses start running about an hour before park opening. If you get to AK too early, they will make you wait before they let you in since the park isn't open yet.

I'd also suggest Kona breakfast since you are staying at Poly. We like it better than Ohana breakfast.

I would definitely suggest Kona for dinner. Our favourite dinner from our last trip.

You can ride the bus...some people even take a taxi but I don't know that it's necessary. We always have our own car so have never relied on the Disney transportation to get to AK. We always do the 8:05 ADR and they let us into the park around 7:45ish if I remember correctly.

I bet I could just eat at the poly and be totally happy. LOL we did the O'hana breakfast last time, so Know sounds good. Do they have the bread? That WS yummy...
