Planning question

My family and I are planning a trip to disneyland in the first week of december. we are planning to spend maybe 4 days at disney and travel to San Diego to see the zoo. My wife, our 5 year old son , and my parents are going as well. We were looking at a 2 bedroom suite at the disneyland hotel. I was hoping to get a room discount but none have appeared yet. Any idea how much the discount will be and when will it be posted? If we go ahead and book a room will we receive the discount? Another question , Is the adventure by disney one day tour of hollywood worth it? Any good suggestions for fun places to go in the area for a family with a 5 year old? Finally, we are interested in the candlelight processional if it worth seeing. Thanks in advance for help.

Room specials for that time of year won't come out until the early fall, if you book you can always call later and have them add the discount. BUT I don't think they ever apply to the suites (I could be wrong). It is always cheaper to get 2 rooms over a suite for a larger group.
