I know there is a lot of information about the busiest times (crowds....) to visit DW but I also know that these dates do not necessarily correlate to the busiest times for DVC. Is there any thread/site that shows DVC availability (historically) and which days of the week are most common for check-in?

I'm going to guess that Sunday check in thru Friday check out is still most common for DVC reservations, due to higher points on the weekends. But not as much as in the past when there was a larger difference between weekday and weekend points requirements.

As for crowded DVC times:
all of Food & Wine festival (basically October & early November)
First few weeks of December
Other typical holiday periods - Christmas, T-giving, Easter
