We'd like something close to the port, with a great view of the ocean, available cruise parking for the duration. And with easy access to transport even in the form of cab or lyft because I can't really manage walking even say a couple of blocks, and am far too slow to cross a road on foot.

we have stayed at the Springhill Suites. It is right across the street from the port, you can see the Wonder dock if you have a water view room.

There is a Wyndham, SpringHill Suites & InterContinental right across the street from the terminal.

The Hilton has an amazing pool RIGHT on the bay. It’s a bit of a walk into the gas lamp district (not bad for able bodied walkers) but cabs and Lyft are readily available.

All of the hotels are across the street from the cruise port. We have stayed at Springhill (Marriott). They had a cruise package but I don't know about parking. Very nice place and we saw the Wonder arrive early in the morning from our room.

We’ve stayed at the Wyndham Bayside twice. Last time we stayed there, they had a complimentary shuttle that will transport you and your luggage to the port-you will need to sign up for the service ahead of time. It is also just a quick walk across the street at a dedicated cross walk with a light. We could see the Wonder from our balcony

This sounds amazing, but we're driving up from Phoenix the night before and probably wouldn't have time to take advantage of it.

It's not close to the port (about 8 miles) but Hotel del Coronado offers a great view of the ocean and a very nice beach.

Not worth it if you are driving up the night and can't enjoy this beautiful property.

This is the view from our room last October at the Wyndham Bayside, if it helps to see how close it is to the dock.0Iz8y9XcQ+CwjkVEsgoDNA.jpg
