Hi guys,

Been trying to figure out what nights to do what during my 4 days In Disneyland/California Adventure with my 4 day park hopper. Right now I roughly plan to do the below:

May 4 - Hop between DLR and DCA getting a feel for the rides/fast passes etc
May 5 - During the day hop between both parks and at night stake out a spot on Main St early around 6:15 to get front row spots for Paint the Night/Disneyland Forever

May 8 - Hop between parks and catch World of Color? Will it be busy on a Sunday night at 9:00?
May 9 - Hop between parks on my last day - catch World of Color tonight instead since it's a Monday night at 8:30?

I'd also like to catch Fantasmic! but I see it's closed until April of next year? Wow :(

Let me know what you guys think or what changes I'd make. I will be in San Diego on the 6th and 7th doing SeaWorld and the Zoo as well as visiting family.

Familiarize yourself with a list of what's down when so you don't miss anything you want to do. Lots of random closures right now & Matterhorn on certain days. The dates can change a bit so keep an eye them if you're interested in a ride on there.

Don't know much about WOC or acquiring front row PTN spots so can't help there :( I love your flexibility to just go with the flow! Are you interested in any TS? If so you might want to considering making reservations now. Have fun! Your trip sounds great!

I don't see you mentioning it, but be prepared because you're going to be there during the Tinkerbell Half Marathon Weekend.

The Fitness Expo opens Thursday, May 5 and the races will be Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8. The longest distance (half marathon) will be on Sunday. They happen very early in the morning.

The things most affected by this are traffic patterns (only matters if you're driving because of road closures) and dining reservations (runners like to carb load the night before a race). Plus mother's day is on May 8 so reservations will be filled with those individuals as well.

I personally do not think it's that bad as long as one is expecting and prepared for the races and the road closures. There's definitely a lot of positive energy floating around from the runner's high many seem to have.

Thanks for the heads up! We'll most likely be walking but will have a rental car as well. We're staying about a 10-15 minute walk from Disneyland
