Planning last minute trip w/12mo old and 2 1/2 yo - HELP!

My husband just found out that his work is sending him to a conference at the Dolphin in mid-April, and we just found out that we are going with! We will be driving down and staying in the Dolphin. This will be our first time taking our children, who will be 12 mos and 2 1/2. This is younger than I had planned on them being, but it's an opportunity we can't turn down!

I am caught between excitement and panic b/c I am a HUGE planner and we have less than 3 weeks to go. I would love to book the Chef Mickey breakfast - do you think there's any hope of that? We will have to retire to the hotel each afternoon for naps. Any other ideas regarding planning? Where can I find out if the kids will be old enough/large enough to ride any rides? Lordy - I barely know where to begin!

Thanks for any helpful advice or suggestions - I am depending on the kindness of strangers to help figure out what we need to do!

Call ADR now to try to see if Chef Mickey's is available. If your DH is able to help, there are lots of rides in the MK park. Peter Pan, Dumbo, etc. Locate the baby care stations in each park and plan on using them. They provide a nice break area from the activity in the park (for feedings or changing.) Remember that your kids are small and will enjoy themselves but not have a lot of memories. Have a great time but don't push yourselves too hard. My DD first trip was at 5 months. She is now 4 and has been to WDW 3 times and DL once. She has a little brother that has been a few times too.

We are going this june and our little one will be 10mo old. They can ride any ride as long as there is not a height restriction. I didnt realize this until I did a lot of research. I am so excited. I cant wait to ride dumbo with him and my 4 yr old dd, dont know how much my dd-9 and ds-7 will enjoy some of those, but hey this is all there first trip. The way my kids are they will want to ride every thing. Have a good trip.
By the way did you get chef mickey we are going to eat breakfast there our last morning, Our way of saying by to mickey, until next time.
