Planning... is there anyway to know....

We are looking into planning a quick trip at the end of February. (Feb 27-Mar1). That shouldn't be any presidents weekends or spring break but is there any way to find out if there is anything else going on that weekend. Meaning like... cheer leading competitions. School band gatherings. Etc.

Unlike at WDW those of pretty minor to DLR.

But big conventions can make calm days almost regular or make nights fairly busy.

Thanks! It looks like there are a couple things going on that weekend. We are thinking of going Sunday-Tuesday so hopefully that wont be too bad.

That week Anaheim has the United Spirit Association Junior Nationals with an expected attendance of 8,500 and the All Stars & College level with expected attendance of 13,500.

I would guess they will spend some time at Disneyland. Generally, you can find a brochure or information site on-line somewhere with the activities planned.

Thanks! I saw that on the convention center website and wondered how much that would effect that park. I will do some digging to see if I can find an itinerary. We are planning to go Sunday-Tuesday so my hope was that they wouldn't stay past Sunday. Wishful thinking, I know.

From what I can see, everything is taking place at the convention center but they are selling discounted tickets. Bummer. I wonder how much this will drive up attendance.

If you ever want to find Anaheim "happenings," you can search the calendar on the Anaheim Visitors Bureau & Anaheim Convention Center websites. Great for finding events for any time of the year. Just FYI.

I know that TUSD has Rodeo Weekend break that weekend,and I 'think' Phoenix has a 'spring-break' at the same time. But it should be no biggy for your date,as everyone will be leaving that Sunday.
