We are thinking about taking a family trip in April or October. There would be 7 adults, 1 14-year old and 2 9-year olds. Today I called WDW directly and the guy I was talking with was kind of a space cadet. What is the best way to try and get this all together? Im thinking 3 seperate rooms will probably be the best. TIA!

Unless you're trying to piece things together separately, I'd give Dreams Unlimited Travel a try. We used them this summer and they were fantastic! Just told them what we were looking for, dates, how many, any preferences, etc., and they did all the work. Very happy with their services. You can always just get the free quote; no obligation to book with them after that.

Have you tried calling Gand Gatherings? There is a different number you call and they are more informative than the stadard reservation opperator, IMO. Or at least they were when we were planning a Grand GAthering last year. So they might be more asiatnce to you in your planning. You can also plan your dining through them to.

We made arrangements for a grand gathering 2 years ago. In fact I don't think we were given any other choice when we stated the number of people we were making reservations for. The reservations certainly were tied together, but I don't think it was any less confusing! Something was always entered wrong and every time we made the slightest change they mailed 3 seperate confirmations out--again and again! :badpc:

The minimum number for a Grand Gathering is 8. You might try settling on a date first and then check out your resort options. A TA might help with this in that they can very simply state your options for a group your size and the cost of each one.
