Planning Far In Advance (like 2012)?

Hi!

I am planning for my next trip to Walt Disney World in 2012 and was wondering if anyone else likes to plan far in advance?

Feb 18 to Feb 25 @ Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

Me! We just got back a few weeks ago and are planning on going back in August 2012. It was 2013, but now I can't wait that long so 2012 it is! Glad to see I'm not the only one planning so far in advance.

We are going end of August before DD starts school. I am thinking of buying DVC so hope to stay at Beach Club Villas again, we loved it!

We are taking a quick trip at thanksgiving this year, but I have been planning a ten day June 2012 trip to coincide with my oldests high school graduation...will probably be the last trip as a family

I'm planning for right before then!

February 9th-19th split between a currently undecided disney resort, and our timeshare.

We just got back as well yesterday Sept 11 and are already planning our Dec 14-21, 2013 trip. Only 1189 days to go.

I'm planning a trip for he first or second week in december 2012. I've always wanted to see the christmas lights at WDW, it will be great.

I'm planning a Grand Gathering for 2012. At least that is what I am hoping for. It will be my family of 4, cousins family of 5 and Aunt, Uncle and another cousin. I've never had to worry about this many people My husband gave me a wonderful idea about letting the guys go free one day and then letting the women go free one day. I think that would be GREAT! There will be kids ranging from 15 to 3. It will be a first trip for the family of 5! I'm so excited to share the wonderful world of Disney with them!!!!!

I am hoping to get back to Disney in November 2012. I tried to talk DH into next year but he just frowned. But since DS turns 16 next year we probably couldn't afford a trip and a car in the same year anyway, so it's for the best (at least that's what I am telling myself). Our last trip was in November 2008 so I am definitely Disney deprived right now (

We're planning early April 2012. I know it's like FIVE HUNDRED DAYS AWAY, but I can't help but be excited. We're stashing cash in our Disney popcorn bucket to watch it fill up.

I am planning a mommy-daughter trip for September 2012! Glad I'm not the only Disney crazy person! lol I had planned one this year, but it turned into a mommy-daughter-grandparents trip as I got cold feet at the last minute thinking of taking a 3 year old by myself! But in 2012 DD will 5 so I think it will be doable! We have only ever stayed moderate so that gives me plenty of time to save to stay at.....THE POLY! So excited about that! Visited last month on our trip and its just too gorgeous to pass up. Also planning on doing EVERY character meal. Yes EVERY one! I'm CRAZY! lol I will have to take DD out of Kindergarten but I am not too worried about that. I was always a student where I could miss lots of days (40 my sophomore year due to mono!) and still do good because I retain info so well. Hopefully she will get that from mommy! WHOS EXCITED WITH ME!!! Can't wait to find out what the theme will be for 2012...only another YEAR to find out! lol

Mee too planning for Grandgathering 2012 We are going to be a group of about 20 ranging in age from 6 - 65. Have been planning this trip since we were first there 2008. Two full weeks this time with a trip to universal for the first time too.

Does anyone know an estimate of when to expect dates to be released for 2012 booking? We are looking at Sept or Dec 2012 and I want my group to know when I will need deposits for rooms.

We are also. Thinking of June 2012. It really all deponds on when we have to transfer.

We're going back in Sept/Oct 2012 and currently there are 15 family members, besides my family, that "plan" to go also. I'm hoping the new resort is open for business but if not we'll most likely stay at POP.

Secretly, I'm hoping that we can go next year but we may go to the Smoky Mountains in June instead.

Room only reservations should open up sometime in late July 2011. I started planning our Dec 2010 trip in March of 2009. I remember I could make room only reservations around July 24 and package deals around August 15 of 2009.
