Planning Disney Cruise for MAW trip in Jan

Hi everyone. We just got the final ok for our son's make a wish disney cruise in Jan 2013! We will be on the 4 night Disney Dream to the Bahamas. Our family consists of DH, DS 7 and DS 4 (our make a wish child.) This is our first trip as a family and none of us have ever been on a cruise. Any tips or suggestions on things we should do. Thanks!

How exciting to get the final ok.

My DD 14 will be having her meeting soon to request her wish, and she is also wanting to go on a Disney cruise. We've never been on a cruise either, and we are finding out that there is a lot of info we need to learn, but the DIS is such a wonderful source of info.

The wonderful thing about a cruise is that you don't need to plan a lot! Check your Navigator's each evening, bring different colored highlighters to mark what everyone wants to do. There is so much to do! We did the Dream 4-night to Bahamas last winter and there was a Wish family on our cruise as well.

My best advice...don't overpack! It's so easy to do, but really take a look at what you want to pack and then cut it down.
