Hi...Another 1st timer question...

In the midst of itinerary planning for our trip last week of May, first week of June.

Do you all plan your Disney Days around the fireworks, and if so are they on every day, or is it best to say do AK - back to villa for swim & siesta - then back to MK for fireworks??

Any help would be greatly appreciated...............

I planned a day around Spectromagic and wishes as Spec. was only on 2 days a week when we were there. We got in for opening and stayed until around 1, came back at 4 had ps at Liberty Tree Tavern at 5.30, had time for a couple of rides then saw the parade and fireworks. My kids dont have the stamina to do all day in the park so we regularly do this, mind you we stay at Vistana which is really close. Epcot fireworks and Fantasmic we did on the same night, our last night, which was a fantastic end to the holiday.

we write up a rough plan, so we dont miss any of our favourites, and then work round that. For instance.
if we are at MK and want to see illuminations at epcot, we head on over late Pm, do rides etc etc, make a priority seating(from england in advance), at the rose and crown for food at 8.00 ready to watch the fireworks at 9.00 from the comfort of our chair !!.

I think if you know what you want to see, and when it makes it easier.

Did you also know that the last weekend of May is memorial weekend??, the parks will be VERY busy on the saturday/sunday/monday, might be a good idea to plan something non parky thiese days?!, we did and it worked a treat.Abit of forward planning is always very helpful.

It depends on how important it is to you to see each of the fireworks shows. :)

Once the park hours have been announced, check which days the fireworks will be on, then plan around them, but not necessarily spending the whole day in that park.

As signtalker says, it is sometimes a good idea to hop over to a park at the end of the day after being elsewhere. This is particularly true if the fireworks are on days which are Early Entry days for that park, when the park will be busy all day and you may prefer to be in a different park.
