Planning Ahead - Spring Break 2012

We are thinking of perhaps visiting Hilton Head or Vero Beach next year (instead of Disney ) the week after Easter. We do not own at either resort so I will be hoping to get something at 7 months. What do you think my chances are? Has anyone had success at 7 months during Spring Break? Thanks.

Our other option is spending a few days at Disney and then driving over to Vero... might be easier for me to swallow

You might have a better chance since your dates are after Easter because many schools go back by midweek unless Passover comes after & then the break usually extends longer to cover that. Call first thing on day 7 month window opens for your best chance.

I was thinking the same thing - I can't seem to let go on being on property and at least hitting the parks once. My family will only travel to FL once a year so I just can't stand missing the parks one year!!
