Hey guys, here's my situation :) My beautiful wife has never been to Disneyland and I've decided that it's high time, that I changed that ... I want to plan a family vacation for her and our four children as a surprise but I have no idea where to start :( She's the one who usually plans everything in our house but I think it's high time, I did something for her so I'm asking for anyone's help to plan the best vacation for her and my family?

Hello

Do you mean Florida Disney or California Disney?

As its your first time I would book a package holiday rather then do it independently, Virgin, Thomson etc all do packages. With six of you will either need a hotel that does family suites or a villa, someone on here is bound to be able to recommend somewhere. When looking at packages one thing to consider is that you will need to add tickets on which aren't cheap so you need to factor in that cost as well. For a first trip don't try to do everything, if you try to do all of Disney, Universal, Seaworld etc in 2 weeks you will be exhausted!

Happy planning!

I was planning on Florida Disney :) I'll try to see if Virgin has any packages avaliable for us, does anyone have any idea on what the best sort of time of the year would be to go?

Hi

I just noticed you are in Washington DC. You migh be better off posting on the main trip planning boards as they will have better advice to offer you as on this board we are mainly from th United Kingdom.

In the meantime check out the Disneyworld website and you can send for a free planning DVD.

Mods could you move this for the OP?

Good luck :goodvibes
