Hello everyone! My mom and I have decided that we need to plan our next trip to WDW. We've been twice before and in January we had a big family trip with 10 people (can we say insanity?).
We've gone in August and January and both times I hated the weather. There's nothing worse than warm rain, garbage bag ponchos, and tree branches flying around Epcot. And who can forget the record low temperatures the day we went to MGM in January. I bought gloves.
This time we're going to try early December 2005. We've always wanted to see the Christmas decorations, and it'll be over my parents 18th anniversary. Not only that, but it'll be right after my friend and I's birthday (she might come with us), right before Christmas and my sister's 12th birthday. Who wouldn't want to celebrate in WDW?
The thing is, we're going to surprise my sister and my dad. Or at least try to. Mostly because every time we go to Disney my dad says "Never again!" (But he loves it) and it'll be fun to surprise my sister.
My mom is goign to take $20 out of the bank each week until we have around $1300. We're going to give the money to my Grandparents, ant they'll buy the plane tickets so it doesn't come up on our credit card bill.
This last trip we got a condo for a week off SkyAuction for under $300. We're hoping to get one again. We'll have my grandparents buy that too.
Then we're going to buy the 5 day park hopper passes at the Disney Store in Portland, OR the day before we fly down.
Any tips on how to keep it a secret? Especially from dad. What's it like there the first two weeks of December?
