We're not doing the amusement park, it's just a very quick visit to Hershey work - does anyone have any must have things to do. There are alot of options, but I wondered what was worth it and not worth it.

Thanks
Debbie

Not sure of ages in your family, but Troeg's Brewery just moved to Hershey, PA and offer self and guided tours. Also I've heard great things about the Hershey Gardens but I have never actually been there myself. Have fun! :)

Our family really enjoyed the trolley tour. It is not only historical, but funny and clever. Great for kids as well as adults!

The Chocolate Spa at The Hotel Hershey is wonderful, if you are looking to indulge. If not, Chocolate World is nice. The Luray Caverns are very close.

Besides Hershey Park... We love the trolley tour and LOVE the spa at the Hotel Hershey

Actually Indian echo caverns are close. Luray caverns are in Va.

Do the trolley ride!

We enjoyed this too ... plus the free Hershey kisses throughout the ride and the free Hershey bar at the end:lmao:

How are the Indian echo caverns?? I've been wanting to do that... never been in one so have nothing to compare it too. Are they worth seeing?

We went to Indian Echo Caverns years ago - it was cool.

We really enjoy ZooAmerica which you can go to without entering Hershey Park if you are so inclined. If you have membership with a local zoo, check to see if there is a reciprocal entrance agreement; we have one with ours.

Troegs was really fun - their tasting room has a great menu; we ended up going there twice (snack on Friday, lunch on Sunday). My husband did the tour - it cost $5 and he got 3 samples plus a pint glass, good deal! I'm hoping to do it when we go back in October.

I have always been interested in Hershey Gardens but we have not made it there yet. It looks amazing.

I fifth(?) the vote for Chocolate World. Good to know about the trolley ride being fun; we'll put that on our list.

We just did a segway tour of Harrisburg - there was a GroupOn. THere is a more expensive tour on Segways of the Hotel Hershey gorunds as well.
