Don’t see much on the Disney Calendar for the month of February. My wife and I have booked the month of February in a Beach Club Villas Studio and are now planning our agenda. It starts out Super Bowl Parties in the lounge followed by the Daytona 500 and its week long activities but from then on it is kind of sparse. With the shorten days and the cooler nights of February, and staying in a studio, planning our days activities is a must. I looked at what Disney has on its calendar and don’t find much … if anything at all. Does anyone know of any activities going on at the parks during the month of February that they can share?

I'd certainly avoid the parks the Fri and Sat before the 500 (Is that the 2nd largest attending sporting event in the country?), they'll be packed. (easy daytrip for Daytona visitors)

HI,

When we went this past Feb, the Pirate and Princess Party was going on one Saturday night. Well worth to buy the ticket! You will also get a discount with DVC. I think you can order from the website or call MS for advance tickets. This will allow you to enter I believe as early as 4PM into the park without using an admission ticket. You should plan that for a non park day, and plan to visit DTD or stay at resort and swim, because tickets are not cheap and you wouldnt want to burn a park ticket for only 1/2 day use. You will love going this time of year. Low crowds and some nice touring weather! We were able to enjoy the pool in the afternoon when it was the warmest. We did however see peeps in the pool late at night when it was quite chilly. :cold: Be sure to pack a light jacket.

how much is pirates and princess party? is it good for just two adults, or should we only do it with kids?

Here is the info I found on DIS site. Now keep in mind that currently there are no dates for Feb, but it is pretty good that they will hold the party on at least some weekends because it has been very successful. Keep checking DIS for details as I believe they are announced at least 6 months prior.

Sorry, I forgot to answer the 2nd part of your question. Yes, I think it would be great for adults who do not have kids with them. The special parade and fireworks alone are worth the ticket. Then you have special character meets and don't forget the late hours to ride some of the E-ticket rides with little or no wait!:thumbsup2
