So as the resident Disney expert for my friends, family & coworkers, I have been asked by a cousin to help her MOH plan her a Disneyland Bachelorette Party.:yay: She just asked me a few weeks ago but the planner inside me wants to have it all setup as of yesterday. :wizard: I think this won't happen until 2014 so I have at least a year to plan. I really need to be a travel agent.

We will be staying at one of my usual spots: Carousel Inn or Annabella Hotel (same owners, I love the hardwood floors and can usually get a good deal).

I want to get matching T-shirts or Tank Tops depending on time of year or girls preference. And I'm hoping to get ears or at least the ear clips for all the girls.:earboy2: Any design ideas for the shirts? I read about one saying "Happiest Bachelorette Party On Earth" and thought that was cute. Maybe do the logo on a couple of silk screens and have each of the girls design their own? :confused3

I'm hoping for 2 full days in the parks and wanted to get some ideas for scavenger hunts or games to play while in the parks.:confused3 Just to spice it up a bit. I was thinking of the Mad T Party at DCA for one of the night events if it is still around or whatever is in it's place. Any other place in DTD or Gardenwalk that would be good for some drinking/dancing? party:

We can get reservations at Club 33 if the girls are willing to fork over the cash for that. I think some are still in college so it might be a little out of their league.

I also have the idea of the day we check out to give the girls a choice of going over to the Grand to have a pedicure after 2 days walking or sleeping in. That way girls who like to sleep or don't have the cash don't feel bad about skipping out.

I've been searching Google and the boards for ideas and according to the internet, which is always right :rotfl:, no one goes to Disneyland for their bachelorette. Tons of stuff on WDW, which I would love to eat desserts and drink around the world but know they can't afford. I always see bachelorette parties at DL, I guess none of them blog. :-(

Any help/ideas would be greatly appreciated. :listen: Thanks in advance!!!!

I've seen a group of girls out for a Bachelorette Party, so I know people do it. You could have all the girls be a princess of choice and get tiaras and customize their shirts according to their princess.

Another good place for a nightcap would be the cove bar in DCA. They have nice drink choices and really good food and you could all watch WOC from there if you wish (10 cover though I think).

For games in the park you can have them do hidden mickey searches, or see how many characters you can get your pic with. Or you could even do ride challenges, like who can go on x amount of rides in 1 hour.

I think there are plenty of opportunities to eat and drink your way through the Land. Just off the top of my head I am thinking Trader Sam's, Uva Bar, Hearthstone Lounge, Alfresco Lounge, Napa Rose Lounge, and Cove Bar. They also have delicious snacks and small plates. I don't know about preferences for meals, but there is everything from character meals (cute photo ops) to high class dinners at Steakhouse 55 or Napa Rose or Carthay.

You could do makeovers at Sephora and shop. You could Build a Bear as a souvenir. It would be really cute to wear matching shirts and get pictures with all the princesses. You could get great pics on Tower of Terror and Splash. Make sure to stop at Guest Services and get the celebrating buttons and see I they will write the reason for your celebration. Have the bride to be wear the bride ears for sure!

It wouldn't be hard to create a scavenger hunt if you wanted. You could have the group find Hidden Mickeys, characters, or special places. They would have to get pictures and the winner gets a special prize. It should be pretty easy to put something together. Have fun!

When we were at Disney a couple of weeks ago... there was a bachelorette or bridal party at Minnie and friends. The chef even came out and made sure everything was okay and the characters and servers could not stay away from the table.

They were having an awesome time.

I love the cove bar. Didn't know they did WOC viewing. X amount of rides sounds fun. We could split in 2-3 teams depending on number of girls.

I forgot about UVA Bar. They have great small plates but it reminded me that you can make reservations at the restaurant to coincide with the fireworks (bride loves them).

Didn't like Carthay didn't really impress me much. Would rather pay for the club to get better food and service.

Does Sephora make reservations for makeovers?

Photos in special hidden/obscure places sounds fun, like the pet cemetery, not sure if everyone will be into hidden Mickeys like the bride and I would be. Need to make it pretty easy.

Thanks for the ideas so far!

You could put the bride in a shirt that says "Princess" and the bridesmaids in shirts that say "Ladies in waiting". You could get the little tiaras, I think they are about $6. I think the pedi idea sounds great. Have fun, it sounds like a great time. Oh yeah, and I have seen a bachelorette party on all of our visits. Too bad there isn't more info out there!

Maybe you guys can stop by Roy's for a happy hour break. Their Martinis are great And the pupus can make a cheaper dinner.

Whatever you do, skip fire and ice. That place is nasty :(

I've always wanted to do breakfast at the first ADR, I hear you can get great photos in front of the castle right before eating. Hopefully the girls are morning people! My DH most definitely is not. My DD3 on the other hand will open and close a park with me!

"Happy Hour" tells me cheaper alcohol, always a plus to save some cash, I'm a top shelf girl so it can get expensive. Thanks for the fire&ice tip. We have a 10 year age span so us 30 something's will want to skip nasty places.

You'll be fine at Roy's. Their regular martinis & specialty cocktails are like $13-$14, and during HH its $5. It's Roy's so you'll be fine w/your preference for top shelf. Get the sliders & taro chip fish tacos. SOOOOO good. Clientele is a mix between tourists and post work HH crowd (like us).

Fire & Ice is like, a panda express meets gross sports bar. It's surprising b/c of the name and the trendy looking outside. Inside, ugh, seriously panda express meets sports bar. Sticky tables, pre-made sangria (like straight out of a bottle w/old fruit). It was disgusting.

Also skip McCormick's in that plaza if you're doing a bar crawl at Gardenwalk. It does not cater to the post-work HH crowd and so it's not HH friendly.

Does anyone know of package deals or an easy way to book hotels/buy tickets for a bachelorette party at Disneyland? Or I suppose it would be like group sales. Would we just each buy our own park hopper passes and book a suite or a couple rooms somewhere and do everything separate?

I've been to many a bachelorette parties and I can say that you shouldn't over plan their day, especially at Disneyland. I love love the shirt and ears idea, so cute! I also think setting up meals and night life is must but I wouldn't do too much because the park itself is fun and I have a feeling just running around as a group will take a lot of your day. Adding in scavenger hunts may be too much when the majority will want to just experience Disney in itself.
I think ESPN zone will be a good place to be loud and have some drinks. I like the idea of getting drinks before or while you watch WOC! I mean any time you can stop for drinks it great lol
