Looking for anyone that has a basis of comparison. I can't decide between RCCL Liberty or Carnival Dream. I have read (probably too much!) over on Cruise critic and still can't decide.

I think I'm leaning towards RCCL Liberty but the newness of The Dream and that pool with that slide for my kids makes me wonder if thats a better fit.

Anyone have an opinion? Thanks! :)

I'm going with the Dream in August. Yes, it is a larger ship but newer. We booked one of the spa cabins where the extra cost spa items (mineral pool/sauna rooms) are included in the price. This cabin also houses our family of four with one bed in the ceiling, one couch bed and two smaller beds put together.

We had Freedom of the Seas booked and had to cancel the trip due to work obligations.

RCCL now charges extra fees for later room service. (a fee on top of the delivery tip). I have teens with hollow legs, so they would be ordering all the time.

The water slide park on the Dream looks interesting as well.

That's great info Cindy! I have two teen boys and that info is VERY helpful.:thumbsup2 I looked at the spa cabins but I think we need two baths so if we do choose the Dream I would get a balcony room for us and the adjacent inside for the boys. Still reasonable. Thanks for replying. We're going in August too with the western itinerary.
