Planning a 2013 Thanksgiving Family DVC Trip- which Resort OKW or BWV

I am planning a 2013 Family Thanksgiving at DVC. Some of of my sons will be flying in from Texas and California. I'm trying to decide if I should book a 2 bedroom and a studio at Boardwalk or a Grand Villa at OKW. Here are the ages of my kids: Cali son (29) and wife (28), Army son (27), and college son (22). We have never stayed at OKW but I like the idea of everyone under the same roof. We'll be cooking at the resort. Also since I don't own at OKW will have to try and rent or trade for it. Comments appreciated.

I would book BWV at 11 months and then see I if I could switch to GV at OKW at 7 months. If it were me, I would like to have the whole family together. You would have a much larger kitchen at OKW. I think this would be nicer especially for Thanksgiving dinner.

OKW has that homey laid back neighborhood feel to it and one big room for Thanksgiving is a positive.

If you are going to cook for a gang, the kitchens in the Grand Villas or Beach Cottages are set up to do that.

You know me, I don't like to cook on vacation but the kitchens in those units might make me change my mind.

Plus you get a really dining table that everyone can sit down.

I cook on vacation. We've stayed at OKW, AKV, and WLV. With cooking, someone has to haul all those groceries. I prefer OKW, because you can park right outside the villa. Have a great vacation; it sounds wonderful!!!

Well that would be awesome to meet you then!! It's looking like OKW so far. I had forgot OKW has a real dining table. And for that dinner, I would want that!!
