HI all! I'm sooooo very excited! My husband and I decided we have it is in the budget to plan our 2nd trip to DW!! August 2014!!!!

We went for the first time in 2012 and the kids and us all loved it!
I spent hours planning and with all of you alls help we had a great trip!

However, now that I'm started the planning again, I feel completly lost!
Everything seemed to have changed with fp+ and MM!

Can someone please help and direct me to some threads that can clear up some of these questions for me!! or let me know about any other changes we should be aware of for this trip!

thank you very much!!!!

You can look on the boards here, but I find people here are way too negative about FP+ etc. You know what they say about people and change! With them, the sky is always falling! Somtimes I wish all these complainers would do us a favor and stop going, more room for us! Overall, the system is brand new and there will be growing pains, as well as adjustments. I am in sales/logistics, and have always been amazed by Walt Disney World and it's Companies, in the sheer magic of what they do EVERY day! I have faith that all will be for the best!
That being said, I have been looking at EasyWDW for a new game plan on attacking the parks, as our next trip will be during THE MOST busiest time of the year for WDW, New Years! We will become Rope Droppers, and schedule FP+'s for the afternoons. We might also try not to "shut the parks down" as we've done in the past, as to try and get some sleep. However, I doubt that will happen, as sleep is for when you die. We'll also follow recommendations as to which parks to visit and avoid when planning. Their calendars are said to be very accurate!
Sorry I got so long winded! Anyway, just my $0.02!
:cool1:

I also recommend EasyWDW! We used them over Christmas and we didn't find it that crowded (comparatively) in the parks we were at, meanwhile the other ones were all closing.

FP+ was actually great for us. It was really nice to not have to drag kids all over the park to pick up fastpasses and then try to explain to a 2 year old why we weren't going to ride that ride at that moment. Also, having control over the time that our fastpasses were at was amazing.

Thank you! Yes I have already been to easywdw and started mapping out what days would be best! with the help of that site and all the people here my family was amazed at how well our 1st visit went! We didn't do everything since we only had 4 day passes for the parks, but we accomplished so much! My husband was afraid I was going scheduling crazy with the ADRs and stressing to him about running ahead for us to get FPs... but again, it all went great and the planning before hand really helped me enjoy more during the trip :)

I have seen a lot of negativity about FP+ but as you said, that is to be expected! I take all advice with a grain of salt (disney planning and anything else! :rotfl2:) knowing we are all different :thumbsup2

Thanks so much! anything else I should prepare for?

again.....I suuuuuuuuppppppeeeerrrr excited!!!!!!!:goodvibes more so than the kids :goodvibes

Another positive FP+ experience here. Worked very well for us on our last trip.
