I am so glad to have found you all! My, how times have changed since I was a ride operator at Disneyland in the '80's! I am planning a quick (and first) visit to FW Nov 4-7 with husband, two grown kids and their 2 1/2 yr old. Have heard great things about having an RV delivered and set up - I've been to WDW once and EC 4x - but over 15 years ago! Any recommendations greatly appreciated! First need best RV company! Then best things to do for my kids coming from Panama, thanks all and keep those ears on! ;)

Hey there OP (original poster)! :welcome: to the Camping Board. :disrocks:

We have had several rental camper threads lately - here is the last one:

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3330556

It mentions several vendors one who rents popups and the others bigger travel trailers. Since you are planning your visit for mid-week you might be able to still rent one at this point.

Make sure to verify pricing before committing since Disney is now imposing a delivery fee I believe (because they can) which is passed on to you the consumer. Some of the trailer vendors have updated their websites with this info but some may not have.

You can also use the "Search this Forum" link up near the top right of the Camping Board to search on key words like rent, trailer, rental, camper, and the vendor names. Folks seem to like the service and it opens up the Fort to people who previously may not have considered it as an option.

Thanks so much for the info - I thought I had read most of the threads - so entertaining and helpful! The link you gave me I hadn't seen so was appreciated!
I looked at the companies and we went with Greenberg as it looked like their website was easier to navigate, they seem to have more options, and have trailers that are newer and nicer - and that may not be accurate but was what I came away with.
For anyone else who reads this and needs info, yes there are fees - delivery and waste disposal and user fee and tax and linens (optional) - with the big Bella Vita model we are 3 nights at just over 500 which isn't bad.
We are getting the premium campsite only because it is paved and in Florida we are used to lots of rain......plus I'm sure the kids would like to be close to the pool.
Now I need to investigate our ticket options for Florida residents - and I'm so excited to be at EC for the Food & Wine festival!
Thanks again everyone for all your posts - made it easy and exciting!
Xoxoxo do jamie ;)

Okay I got me a trailer and I can get me my space - now should I include tickets and what's the best option?
We've got 2 out of towners and two locals and one kidlet under 3.
I can order discount tiks for us FL residents but I'm sure it would be good to get the others two day tiks for WDW with the park hopping option and if I get these thru the FW ressie website they add a bunch of bonus extras.
My this is a process!
Told my husband we have to make this a regular trip now that I am becoming an online DFW expert!
;);)

You will enjoy your Greenburg rental, we used them last year and have another trip planned for next Feb. Matt is very professional, easy to get a hold of, and their trailers are the best. Last trip Matt rolled in with a brand new trailer, was so nice to be the first one using it.

Thanks for the good recommendation! Yes they have been so easy and helpful and I know it will be a perfect place to stay three days!
