Planet Hollywood ?'s

Hi all!

We haven't been to Planet Hollywood in at least 5 years. When we did go some years back, we found the service terribly poor and lacking and we are not complainers. We are considering trying it again--just wondering if there is maybe more postive feedback lately or things have turned around a bit? I am also wondering if there is any Star Wars or Harry Potter memorabilia? Our DS would find that really appealing and could tilt us towards trying it again...I welcome your feedback!

We went in May & it was a huge disappointment. They stuck us in a corner by the bar & we couldn't see any of the memorabilia. Plus, to make matters worse, our food (crab cakes & cobb salad) was down-right disgusting & the really busy bartender was our non-existent "waitress." If I were you, I'd skip it. I wish we had!

Too bad, sounds like nothing has changed! What's up with this place anyways and how do they stay in business with the bad food and poor service?! I was hoping it had turned around some, especially since it really has been more than 5 years since we have visited....

We just got back. We LOVE Planet Hollywood. You can find some pictures on my signature under September 2010 Disney Food. We have been 4 times now in the last 2 years and ALWAYS have had great service each and every time and the food is always big and Yummy. I would give it a try again maybe it will be better for you this time around. There is so much to look at everyone will love it.

I normally enjoy PH. However, we were there in July and it took two hours to get out of there. We were almost late for Cirq.

We went there 6 or 7 years ago. The food and service were okay but not good enough to bother going back.

This place is always packed and it seems like you are always hitting into each other at your table. The food is alright but nothing to warrant the long wait times you have to often occur.

We were there in July and had a great time. Yes, the place is overly crowded and the tables are too close together but the food was good and the server fantastic.

We had fajitas, the mahi mahi, a bacon cheeseburger, and a kid's pizza. Everything was good, our oldest raved about the burger. The kids also had smoothies which they enjoyed.

I was able to get a AAA discount too.

OP, I'd say give it a try.
